Bishops Bay Landscaping Done Right
Patios, retaining walls, stone edging and planting beds for Bishops Bay homeowners, built on a solid base and finished with care.
The Standard Bishops Bay Expects
Bishops Bay isn't a typical residential market. It's a planned premium community with homeowners who expect a level of finish you don't see on standard residential jobs. We've completed multiple projects across Bishops Bay and North Lake, and we build to that bar.
From flagstone patios on Lake Mendota–adjacent lots to boulder walls and stone edging, every Bishops Bay project gets a written estimate, premium materials, and the same crew on-site from start to finish. No surprises.
Premium Work Across the Community
Selected work from our completed Bishops Bay and North Lake projects, built with premium materials and finished with care.
Flagstone Patio Installation
Natural flagstone patio built on a compacted aggregate base, engineered for Wisconsin freeze-thaw cycles. Hand-fit stones with tight joints, finished borders, and integrated drainage — the kind of premium work Bishops Bay homeowners expect from day one.
Stone Garden Edging
Premium stone edging defining clean borders between lawn and planting beds. Properly set on a compacted base so the edgers stay locked in place through freeze-thaw cycles for decades.
Boulder Retaining Wall
A new two-course fieldstone boulder wall built to hold a foundation bed that was sliding onto the lawn, with regrading, seed and erosion blanket to finish.
Bishops Bay Areas We Serve
We work across the entire Bishops Bay community — from waterfront lots on Lake Mendota to interior streets and golf course-adjacent properties.

The questions Bishops Bay homeowners ask us most before starting a project — answered straight, without sales fluff. If yours isn't here, just call or text.
Do you work on new-construction homes in Bishops Bay?
Yes. New construction in Bishops Bay and North Lake typically comes with stripped soil, no established grade, and no existing landscape. That's actually the ideal time to do hardscape and landscape work right. We coordinate with builder timelines, work around final grading windows, and can install patios, walls, stone edging, garden beds, and full landscape design either at the same time as the home's completion or in a separate phase after move-in. For new builds we recommend starting the conversation at least 60 to 90 days before move-in.
What parts of Bishops Bay do you serve?
All of it. North Lake, Lake Mendota waterfront lots, golf course-adjacent properties, interior streets, new construction lots, and established homes. If you live in the Bishops Bay community, we serve your property. We've completed projects across the community.
How long does a typical Bishops Bay project take?
Plan on 1 to 2 weeks for the consultation and quote, and 1 to 3 weeks for the install itself depending on project size. When we can start depends on the season and the schedule. Larger outdoor living projects with multiple zones, retaining walls, or full landscape redesigns may run longer. Stone edging and mulch refresh projects move faster.
What materials do you use for hardscape?
We typically work with Rochester Concrete Products, Versa-Lok, natural flagstone, tumbled Belgian edgers, and natural granite. We go over the options with you at the free walkthrough.
What kind of warranty do you offer on Bishops Bay projects?
Every project comes with a written 1-year workmanship warranty from the day we finish. If our installation has a defect, we fix it at no charge, labor included. Plants we install that die within 1 year are replaced once, with no charge for the plant, as long as they were watered as our care instructions say. Planting labor is billed. The pavers, blocks, and stone we install carry the manufacturer's warranty. See our warranty page for the full terms.
